Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based services at an elementary school serving grades K5. This contract role is located onsite in Prichard, AL, at an elementary school within the Mobile County School District.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Professional License or Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (only one required)
- Experience working with children in K5 grade settings preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively within a school environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through fifth grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings as required

- Contract duration: March 2025 through May 29, 2026
- Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week
- Location: Onsite at one elementary school in Prichard, AL
